NorthEastern University (NEU)

Northeastern University, located in the downtown area of Khon Kaen, is home to over 8000 college students.  The popular majors at NEU include Engineering, Information Technology, Business, Communications and Law.  The majority of the students at NEU are from the northeast region of Thailand known as Isaan. 

Campus Outreach began the ministry at NEU in June 2005 with a team of two American families and 3 Thai national staff.  The first year of ministry was invested primarily in investigating the campus demographics as well as building relationships with students and faculty members.  It’s obvious that God has gone before us and prepared the way for this new work.

God has provided a solid relationship with the administration at NEU through which we volunteer to help teach English in the classrooms.  This and several other key ministry events have allowed us to get personally involved in the lives of many students in order to share the love of Christ with them.  We trust that God will allow NEU to become a strategic place for ‘Building Laborers on the Campus for the Lost World’.
